About the artist
Aaron Liu is a Richmond-based photographic artist originally from China. With over thirty years of experience in photography, his recent work centers on nature as a source of reflection. His photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally across Canada, China, France, Switzerland, and Macau. He has received multiple international awards, including the MonoVisions Photography Awards and the Minimalist Photography Awards. He has published several books on photography, and served as a contracted expert for Fotomen magazine from 2012 to 2015. Liu holds a BFA from Minzu University of China, and is a member of the China Photographers Association and the Canadian Association for Photographic Art. Zhong Liu’s studio is located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
