Community Arts Council of Richmond membership is a privilege and a commitment to the following: 

  1. Understanding, supporting and promoting the mission of the Community Arts Council of Richmond as outlined on the Community Arts Council of Richmond website. 
  1. Respecting the Community Arts Council of Richmond’s good reputation as well as the reputation of all its members. 
  1. Conducting all professional and business activities in a reputable manner, to reflect honourably upon the Community Arts Council of Richmond. 
  1. Adhering to all the Community Arts Council of Richmond’s policies and bylaws. 
  1. Ensuring all financial commitments in regard to this membership are fulfilled. 

I agree to abide by the commitment as outlined above and understand that I am fully accountable and responsible for adhering to the Community Arts Council of Richmond Code of Conduct Agreement. 

I understand Community Arts Council of Richmond membership can be revoked at anytime by the Community Arts Council of Richmond Board of Directors at its discretion and that it will be revoked if any part of this commitment is breached. 

Community Arts Council of Richmond Privacy Policy 

How will we use your data? 

The Community Arts Council of Richmond collects your data when you fill out of our membership form and when you add content onto your Community Arts Council of Richmond profile page so that we can: 

  • Process your membership, donation and/or submissions and manage your account. 
  • Communicate with you about our organisation’s news and events as well as other arts related news and events we think you might be interested in knowing about. 
  • Publicize your name, category of art, and artist’s profile on the Community Arts Council of Richmond website. 

How do we store your data? 

The Community Arts Council of Richmond securely stores your personal data that is only used for membership, donations, and/or submissions electronically in our membership database. 

The Community Arts Council of Richmond publishes your profile page content including images on its website. Because the website is visited by the general public as well as the membership and the website’s purpose is for sharing information about its members, the Community Arts Council of Richmond cannot be held responsible for how visitors of the website may use the information from the site. It is recommended that if you wish to protect your ownership of the images uploaded on the Community Arts Council of Richmond website, that you consider using watermarks on your images and that you only share information you wish the general public to know about you on your profile page. 

The Community Arts Council of Richmond will retain your data until you contact the organisation to say that you no longer wish to be a member of the Community Arts Council of Richmond. Should you choose to do this, your personal data will be removed from our database and your name, category of art, and profile page will be deleted from our website.

Please keep in mind that the Community Arts Council of Richmond reserves the right to remove any content or image at its discretion, however it cannot be held responsible for third-party links, nor the content on members’ profile pages. It also has no ability to control how visitors to its website may use content and images from members’ profile pages. 

  1. Please refer to our code of conduct to guide you in choosing appropriate content for your profile page. 
  2. Please only add links to other sites that have similar standards in content to our own as outlined in our Code of Conduct. 
  3. Please limit your number of images for your profile page to a maximum of 12
  4. Please use only those images that are of the following standard: One high resolution headshot photo in JPG format, photo must include your head and shoulders, and photo is ideally on a white or neutral background.
