Celebrating Senior’s Week in Richmond, June 5th to June 11th, 2023, Faces of Richmond features an audiovisual art exhibition that combines storytelling with art portraits of Richmond’s seniors. Our partners at the Minoru Seniors Centre have kindly hosted the exhibit in their gallery hall, from June 5th to July 2nd.

A group of fourteen artists from Richmond and beyond have generously contributed their unique talents, expressions, and efforts to paint interpretative portraits of fourteen seniors with a special connection to Richmond. An audio-recorded story of the respective seniors will be attached to the portraits, accessible through QR codes.

A virtual gallery of the portraits with the audio stories will be up along with the Faces of Richmond exhibit in Minoru Seniors Centre.
